Section 1 Title and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Coronavirus Act 2020 (Alteration of Expiry Date) (Wales) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 23 March 2022.

Section 2 Alteration of expiry date

(1) The provisions of the Coronavirus Act 2020 specified in paragraph (2)—

(a) do not expire at the time when they would otherwise expire by virtue of section 89 of the Act, and

(b) expire instead at the end of the day on 24 September 2022.

(2) The provisions are—

(a) section 38(1), in so far as it applies in relation to Wales;

(b) section 82, in so far as it applies in relation to Wales;

(c) in Part 1 of Schedule 17—

(i) paragraph 2;

(ii) paragraph 3, in so far as it applies in relation to Wales;

(iii) paragraph 4, in so far as it applies in relation to Wales;

(iv) paragraph 7;

(v) paragraph 8.
