Section 1 Title and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 15 January 2022.

Section 2 Amendment to the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) Regulations 2020

(1) The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 5) (Wales) Regulations 2020 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 16(1), under the “Step 2” heading, after “Step 3” insert “and Step 4” .

(3) In Schedule 2—

(a) in paragraph 2(6)(j)(i), for “50” substitute “500” ;

(b) in paragraph 4—

(i) in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “50” substitute “500” ;

(ii) omit sub-paragraph (2)(l);

(iii) in sub-paragraph (3)(b), for “50” substitute “500” .
