Section 1 Title, coming into force and interpretation

(1) The title of these Regulations is the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Amendment) (No. 3) (Wales) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 1 January 2024.

(3) In these Regulations, “ the principal Regulations ” means the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 1989 .

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations

In Schedule 2 (countries or territories in respect of which the United Kingdom Government has entered into a reciprocal agreement), at the appropriate places insert “Iceland” and “Liechtenstein” .
