Section 1 Title and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Central Rating List (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 18 July 2024.

Section 2 Amendments to the Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005

The Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005 are amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 17.

Section 3 Amendments to the Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005

In regulation 7(1) (railway hereditaments), after “Network Rail Infrastructure Limited” insert “(registered with company number 02904587)” .

Section 4 Amendments to the Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005

In regulation 8 (communication hereditaments), in paragraphs (1)(a), (3) and (5)(b), for “British Telecommunications plc”, in each place it occurs, substitute “British Telecommunications Public Limited Company (registered with company number 01800000)” .

Section 5 Amendments to the Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005

In regulation 9 (national and regional gas hereditaments)—

(a) in paragraphs (1) and (3), for “Transco”, in each place it occurs, substitute “National Gas Transmission plc (registered with company number 02006000)” ;

(b) in paragraph (5) omit ““ Transco ” means Transco plc and each subsidiary of National Grid Transco plc existing on 1 March 2005;” and the “and” after it.

Section 6 Amendments to the Central Rating List (Wales) Regulations 2005

In regulation 11 (gas meter hereditaments)—

(a) in paragraphs (1) and (3), for “Transco”, in each place it occurs, substitute “National Gas Transmission plc (registered with company number 02006000)” ;

(b) omit paragraph (4)(b) and the “and” after it.
