Section 1 Title and coming into force

The title of these Regulations is the Corporate Joint Committees (Amendment to the Local Government Act 2003) (Wales) Regulations 2025 and they come into force on 20 October 2025.

Section 2 Amendment to the Local Government Act 2003

In section 33(1) of the Local Government Act 2003 , after paragraph (jd) insert—

(je) a corporate joint committee established by regulations made under Part 5 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021;
