Section 1 Title and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2025.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024.

Section 2 Provision coming into force on 31 January 2025

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 11 (promoting active travel as a way of reducing or limiting air pollution) of the Act is 31 January 2025.
