Section 1 Title

The title of this Order is the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2025.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 1 September 2025

The following provisions of the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022 come into force on 1 September 2025—

(a) Part 4 of Schedule 3 (assessing higher education: designated body);

(b) paragraph 13(1), (2)(b) and (3) of Schedule 4 (minor and consequential amendments).

Section 3 Provision coming into force on 1 September 2025 to the extent specified

Section 87(5) (policy on funding powers) of the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022 comes into force on 1 September 2025 to the extent that it relates to section 89 (financial support for higher education courses specified in regulations) of that Act.
