Section 1Title and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2026.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024.

Section 2Provision coming into force on 23 January 2026

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 7 (monitoring progress towards meeting targets) of the Act is 23 January 2026.
