The Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2008 s 101

s 101 Supplementary and consequential provision, etc.

(1) The Secretary of State may by order make— (a) any supplementary, incidental or consequential provision, and (b) any transitory, transitional or saving provision, which the Secretary of State considers necessary or expedient for the purposes of, in consequence of, or for giving full effect to any provision of this Order. (2) An order under paragraph (1) may, in particular— (a) provide for any provision of this Order which comes into operation before another such provision has come into operation to have effect, until that other provision has come into operation, with such modifications as are specified in the order; and (b) amend or repeal any statutory provision passed or made before the making of this Order. (3) Nothing in this Article limits the power by virtue of Article 100(4)(b) to include transitory, transitional or saving provision in an order under Article 1 (4) The amendments that may be made under paragraph (2)(b) are in addition to those made by any other provision of this Order.
