reg 65 Penalties
(1) A person guilty of an offence under regulation 64 (offences) (other than an offence arising from a contravention of or failure to comply with a requirement of regulation 8 or regulation 26) is liable on summary conviction— (a) in England and Wales, to a fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both; (b) in Scotland, to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both; and (c) in Northern Ireland, to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both. (2) A person guilty of an offence arising from a contravention of or failure to comply with a requirement of regulation 8 or regulation 26 is liable on summary conviction— (a) in England and Wales, to a fine; (b) in Scotland and Northern Ireland, to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
