Sch 4 para 8 Regulated non-automatic weighing instruments to be set to zero or to be balanced before use
(1) A person must not use a regulated non-automatic weighing instrument for trade unless it is properly balanced or set to zero immediately prior to use. (2) Paragraph (1) does not apply in the case of a regulated non-automatic weighing instrument if it is designed so as not to balance when unloaded.
