AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TEN MILLION PESOS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-SIX FOR WHICH NO FUNDS HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY APPROPRIATED.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of ten million pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of retirement pay differential to retired officers and enlisted men, widows and orphans of deceased retired officers and enlisted men of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, for the period from June twenty-two, nineteen hundred sixty-three to June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-five, pursuant to Republic Act Numbered Thirty-seven hundred ninety-six. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary to pay the pensions of such retired personnel, and the widows and orphans of deceased retired personnel as provided for in Republic Act Numbered Thirty-seven hundred ninety-six shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts.

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
