Section 1Increase of limit on expenditure approved for education support grant purposes.
In section 2(1) of the Education (Grants and Awards) Act 1984 which provides that the aggregate amount of the expenditure of local education authorities in England and Wales approved for any financial year for education support grant purposes shall not exceed 0·5 per cent. of the amount determined for that year in accordance with section 2 of that Act), for “0·5 per cent.” there shall be substituted “1 per cent.”.
