Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Hill Farming Improvements (Piers, etc. ) Order, 1949, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1949.

Section 2
In paragraph 4 of the First Schedule to the said Act, after the word “bridges” there shall be inserted the words “and of piers, jetties or slips” , and the kinds of operations specified in the said Schedule shall include the making or improvement of piers, jetties or slips accordingly.
