Section 1
The provisions of those sections of the Act mentioned in the Schedule hereto that are expressed to apply only to British ships registered in the United Kingdom shall apply to British ships registered in the Colony of Singapore.

Section 2
This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Safety Convention (Singapore) No. 2 Order, 1953, and shall come into operation on the fifth day of August, 1953.
