Section 1Citation and construction

(1) This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order, 1954, and shall be read and construed as one with the Principal Order.

(2) The Interpretation Act, 1889, shall apply for the purpose of interpreting this Order as it applies for the purpose of interpreting an Act of Parliament.

Section 2Amendment of Schedule to Principal Order

The Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the addition of the word “Gibraltar” to the list of territories therein mentioned.
