Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Colonial Probates Act Application Order 1965 and shall come into operation on 10th August 1965.

(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the purpose of interpreting this Order as it applies for the purposes of interpreting an Act of Parliament.

Section 2 Application of Act

The Colonial Probates Act 1892 shall apply to the countries and territories specified in Schedule 1 to this Order.

Section 3 Revocation

The Orders specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby revoked.
