The Superannuation (Rent Tribunals) Order 1965

Section 1

(1) Employment by a Rent Tribunal shall be added to the employments listed in Schedule 8 to the Superannuation Act 1965.

(2) This article shall have effect in relation to employment by any Rent Tribunal as from the date on which that Tribunal was appointed.

Section 2

(1) In this Order the expression “ Rent Tribunal ” means a tribunal appointed in pursuance of section 1 of the Furnished Houses (Rent Control) Act 1946 or section 1 of the Rent of Furnished Houses Control (Scotland) Act 1943 .

(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Rent Tribunals) Order 1965, and shall come into operation on 18th December 1965.
