Section 1

At the end of Regulation 37(1) of the Police (Compensation) Regulations 1965 (which relates to the modification of those Regulations in the case of a chief constable who was serving as such on 1st July 1964) there shall be added the following words:—

unless, in his case, the provision made by this Regulation is less favourable than that otherwise made by these Regulations

Section 2

These Regulations may be cited as the Police (Compensation) (Amendment) Regulations 1966 and shall come into operation on 30th June 1966.
