Section 1 Citation and construction

(1) This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1967 and shall be construed as one with the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962

(2) The Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962 and this Order may be cited together as the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1967

(3) This Order shall be published by the Administrator of the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands Gazette.

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 1 to Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Order 1954

Schedule 1 to the Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Order 1954 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order” ) is amended by the insertion in the appropriate alphabetical order of the words “Turks and Caicos Islands” .

Section 3 Amendments to Schedule 2 to Order of 1954

The definition of “Governor” contained in paragraph 13(1) of Schedule 2 to the principal Order is amended by the insertion after the word “Territory” in that definition of the words “and, in relation to the Turks and Caicos Islands, includes the Administrator” .
