Section 1 Citation and construction

(1) This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1967 and shall be construed as one with the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962

(2) The Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1962 and this Order may be cited together as the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1967.

(3) This Order shall be published by the Administrator of the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Turks and Caicos Islands Gazette.

Section 2 Amendment of Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Order 1954

The Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) Order 1954 , as amended by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1954 , by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1956 , by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1958 , by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Colonies) (Amendment) Order 1959 and by the Visiting Forces (Designation) (Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia) Order 1962 , is further amended—

(a) by the deletion from paragraph (c) of section 1 of the words “Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1959” and the substitution therefor of the words “Visiting Forces Act (Application to Colonies) Orders 1954 to 1967” ; and

(b) by the addition in the appropriate alphabetical order of the words “Turks and Caicos Islands” to the list of territories mentioned in the Schedule.
