Section 1

These regulations may be cited as the Coal Industry Nationalisation (Superannuation) (Amendment) Regulations 1968 and shall come into operation on 1st June 1968.

Section 2

At the end of regulation 1 of the Coal Industry Nationalisation (Superannuation) Regulations 1950 , as amended , there shall be inserted the following paragraph:—

(3) For the purposes of any scheme established by the Board with the Minister's approval the service of any person as a whole-time member of the Board, being a person who was a participant in any such scheme when he became such a member, may be treated as if it were service to which the scheme relates.
