Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Government Annuities Payment (Amendment) Regulations 1969, and shall come into operation on 1st October 1969.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

The Government Annuities Payment Regulations 1958 shall have effect as if, for the reference in Regulation 6(1) thereof to the Postmaster General, there were substituted a reference to the Director of Savings.
