Section 1Citation, interpretation and commencement

This Scheme, which may be cited as the War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) (Amendment) Scheme 1972, amends the War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) Scheme 1964 (hereinafter referred to as “ the principal Scheme ”), and shall come into operation on 2nd October 1972.

Section 2Amendment of Article 8 of the principal Scheme

In Article 8 of the principal Scheme (awards on death) there shall be made the amendments set out in the Schedule hereto.
