The Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1973

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1973 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1973.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

The powers of investment conferred by section 1 of the Trustee Investments Act 1961 shall be extended by adding to Part II of Schedule 1 thereto that manner of investment which would be included therein if at the end of the list of authorities in paragraph 9 of the said Part II, as amended , there were added the following:—

(g) any district council in Northern Ireland.
