The Pensions Increase (Compensation to Court Officers) Regulations 1973

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions Increase (Compensation to Court Officers) Regulations 1973, and shall come into operation on 4th April 1973.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

The Pensions (Increase) Act 1971 shall have effect in relation to a pension payable under Part IV or Part V of the Courts (Compensation to Officers) Regulations 1971 as if it were specified in Part I of Schedule 2 to that Act.

Section 4

Any increase of pension payable by virtue of these Regulations shall take effect from 1st December 1972.
