Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions Increase (Judicial Pensions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1974, and shall come into operation on 2nd January 1975.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

(1) Paragraph 16 of the Schedule to the Pensions Increase (Judicial Pensions) Regulations 1972 (as substituted by Regulation 5(1)(c) of and Schedule 2 to the Pensions Increase (Judicial Pensions) (Amendment) Regulations 1974 shall be amended by inserting before the last entry in the table the following entries:—

(2) Any increase of pension payable by virtue of this Regulations shall take effect from 1st December 1973.
