The Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Revocation) Order 1974

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Revocation) Order 1974 and shall come into operation on 8th May 1974.

Section 2

(1) Insofar as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Order 1959 provides that the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1920 shall extend to the countries and territories specified in paragraph (2) below, that Order is hereby revoked, and accordingly the names of those countries and territories shall be omitted from the First Schedule to that Order.

(2) The countries and territories referred to in paragraph (1) above are—

(a) Australia, Territory for the Seat of Government of the Commonwealth (Australian Capital Territory);

(b) British Columbia;

(c) Gibraltar;

(d) Manitoba;

(e) New South Wales;

(f) New Zealand;

(g) Northern Territory of Australia;

(h) Nova Scotia;

(i) Ontario;

(j) Queensland;

(k) South Australia;

(l) Tasmania;

(m) Victoria.
