Section 1
These Regulations shall come into operation on 27th May 1974 and may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) (Amendment) Regulations 1974.

The Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) (Amendment) Regulations 1974
Section 2
Regulation 7 of the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) Regulations 1972 (production of evidence that a motor vehicle is not driven in contravention of insurance requirements), as amended , shall have effect as if in paragraph (4), for the words “in the territory of a member state of the Communities, other than the United Kingdom and Gibraltar,” there were substituted the words “in the territory other than the United Kingdom and Gibraltar of a member State of the Communities or of Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden, or Switzerland,” .
