Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions Increase (Compensation to Staff of Teachers' Training Establishments) Regulations 1975, and shall come into operation on 1975.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

These Regulations shall apply to a pension payable under Part IV or Part V of the Colleges of Education (Compensation) Regulations 1975 , other than a pension which, before the date on which these Regulations come into operation, is an official pension for the purposes of the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971.

Section 4

The Pensions (Increase) Act 1971 shall have effect in relation to a pension to which these Regulations apply as if it were specified in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to that Act.
