Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Guard Dogs Act 1975 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1975.

Section 2

(1) The Guard Dogs Act 1975, except the provisions specified in paragraph (2) below, shall come into force on 1st February 1976.

(2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) above are—

(a) section 2 (restriction on keeping guard dogs without a licence);

(b) section 3 (guard dog kennel licences);

(c) section 4 (appeals);

(d) section 5 (offences, penalties and civil liability) so far as its provisions relate to sections 2, 3, 4 and 6; and

(e) section 6 (regulations).
