The Government Annuity Tables Order 1975

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Government Annuity Tables Order 1975, and shall come into operation on 27th May 1975.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

For the Tables set out in Schedule 1 to the Government Annuity Tables Order 1974 (which show the purchase price of an annuity when the average price of £100 2½ per cent. Consolidated Stock is less than £19¼ but not less than £14½) there shall be substituted the Tables set out in Schedule 1 to this Order (which show the purchase price of an annuity when the average price of £100 2½ per cent. Consolidated Stock is less than £19¼ but not less than £14).

Section 4

The rules observed in framing the new tables substituted by article 3 above are set out in Schedule 2 to this Order.
