Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Agriculture Act 1967 (Amendment) Regulations 1976, and shall come into operation on 1st December 1976.

(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of these regulations as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 2 Amendment of the Agriculture Act 1967

(1) In section 27(1) for paragraph (d) thereof there shall be substituted—

or ( d ) where the grant is made in pursuance of provisions of a scheme implementing, or arising out of or related to, a Community obligation.

(2) The paragraph (d) so substituted is in place of the paragraph (d) added by the Agriculture Act 1967 (Amendment) Regulations 1973 .
