The Tribunals and Inquiries (Discretionary Inquiries) (Amendment) Order 1976

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Tribunals and Inquiries (Discretionary Inquiries) (Amendment) Order 1976 and shall come into operation on 29th March 1976.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of this Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

Part 1 of the Schedule to the Tribunals and Inquiries (Discretionary Inquiries) Order 1975 shall be amended as follows:—

(a) after paragraph 15 there shall be inserted the following paragraph:—

(15A) Any inquiry or hearing held under paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) Act 1946 , as modified by paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 to the Community Land Act 1975 , not being an inquiry the holding of which is, under paragraph 4 as modified, obligatory.

; and

(b) after paragraph 20 there shall be inserted the following paragraph:—

(20A) Any inquiry or hearing held under paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 to the Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947 , as modified by paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 to the Community Land Act 1975, not being an inquiry the holding of which is, under paragraph 4 as modified, obligatory.
