Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) This order may be cited as the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1977.

(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 applies for the interpretation of this order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 2Commencement

The date appointed as “ the date of operation for forestry workers ” within the meaning of the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 shall be 1st October 1977.
