The Pensions Increase (Federated Superannuation System for Universities) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1977

Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Pensions Increase (Federated Superannuation System for Universities) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1977, and shall come into operation on 16th June 1977.

Section 2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

Section 3

The Pensions Increase (Federated Superannuation System for Universities) Regulations 1972 , as amended , shall be further amended, in Regulation 2(1) in the definition of “relevant employment” :—

(a) in paragraph (c) thereof, by inserting after the words “Great Britain” the words “or Northern Ireland” ;

(b) in paragraph (e) thereof, by deleting the date “1st July” and substituting “1st October” .
