Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Hovercraft (Application of Enactments) (Amendment) Order 1979, and shall come into operation fourteen days after the date of making.

Section 2

The Hovercraft (Application of Enactments) Order 1972 shall be amended by inserting in the columns in Part A of Schedule 1 thereto (application to hovercraft of certain enactments relating to vessels)—
(a) after the entry relating to section 76 of the Public Health Act 1961 the following:—
(b) after the entry relating to the Firearms Act 1968 the following:—
