Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Modification) Order 1979 and shall come into operation on the expiration of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is made.

Section 2
Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (which, as amended , specifies the drugs which are subject to control under that Act) shall be amended by the insertion in paragraph 1(a) of Part I of that Schedule, after the word “Phenazocine” , of the word “Phencyclidine” .
