The Cycle Racing on Highways (Amendment) Regulations 1980

Section 1

These Regulations shall come into operation on 12th September 1980 and may be cited as the Cycle Racing on Highways (Amendment) Regulations 1980.

Section 2

The Cycle Racing on Highways Regulations 1960 shall be further amended in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

In Regulation 5, in paragraph (1), for item (i) in sub-paragraph (a) substitute the following item:—

(i) the number of competitors must not exceed—

in two, but not more than two, races selected in any one year by the British Cycling Federation of 70 Brompton Road, London, 84;

in the case of any race not promoted by virtue of sub-paragraph (a) above, 60.
