Section 1

This order may be cited as the Housing Act 1980 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1980.

Section 2

Sections 78, 79 and 118 of the Housing Act 1980 shall come into operation on 20th October 1980.

Section 3

The provisions of the Housing Act 1980 specified in the Schedule to this order shall come into operation on 27th October 1980.

Section 107 except in relation to paragraphs 4, 12, and 28 to 32 of Schedule 12.

Section 152(1) in so far as it relates to paragraphs 21 and 30 of Schedule 25.

Section 152(3) in so far as it relates to the repeals specified in the Table below:

REPEALS

In section 56, in subsection 1(d), the words “by the provision of standard amenities” .

In section 57(6), the words “Except in so far as this Act otherwise provides” , and paragraph (b).

In section 62(3), the words from “and different limits” to the end.

Section 64(7).

Section 67(2)(b) and (4).

In section 84, paragraph (b) of the definition of “the relevant standard” .
