Section 1Citation and commencement
This order may be cited as the Water Authority Expenses (Limitation of Precepts) Order 1980 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1981.

The Water Authority Expenses (Limitation of Precepts) Order 1980
Section 2Specification of number in connection with limitation of precepts
The number specified for the purposes of section 46(5) of the Land Drainage Act 1976 shall be 2.5.
Section 3Specification of rate period
The rate period specified for the purposes of section 181(4) of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (from the beginning of which period the exercise of the powers of section 46(5) of the Land Drainage Act 1976 as amended by section 181(1) of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 has effect) shall be the rate period next beginning after 31st March 1981.
