Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Occupational Pension Schemes (Public Service Pension Schemes) (Amendment) Regulations 1980 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1980.

(2) Expressions in these regulations have the same meaning as in the Social Security Act 1973 or, as the case may be, in the Social Security Pensions Act 1975.

Section 2Amendment of the Schedule to the Occupational Pension Schemes (Public Service Pension Schemes) Regulations 1978

The Schedule to the Occupational Pension Schemes (Public Service Pension Schemes) Regulations 1978 shall be amended by adding thereto the following occupational pension scheme:—

House of Commons Refreshment Department Pension Scheme
