This Order may be cited as the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (Immunities and Privileges) Order 1981. It shall come into operation on the date on which the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources , opened for signature at Canberra on 1st August 1980, enters into force in respect of the United Kingdom. That date shall be notified in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes.
The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) is an organisation of which the United Kingdom and other sovereign Powers are members.
The Commission shall have the legal capacities of a body corporate.
