Section 1Citation and commencement
This order may be cited as the Isles of Scilly (National Health Service) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 9th November 1981.

The Isles of Scilly (National Health Service) Order 1981
Section 2Extension of Acts to the Isles of Scilly
(1) The Health Services Act 1976 shall extend to the Isles of Scilly.
(2) The National Health Service Act 1977 shall extend to the Isles of Scilly with the modification that the expression “ local authority ” in that Act shall, in relation to those Isles, mean the Council of those Isles constituted under the Isles of Scilly Order 1978.
Section 3Revocations
The Isles of Scilly (National Health Service) Orders 1948, 1951, 1961 and 1969 are hereby revoked.
