Section 1Citation and commencement

This order may be cited as the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 1st February 1982.

Section 2Code of Practice

Approval is hereby given to the code of practice prepared by the Secretary of State for the purpose of giving guidance on appropriate methods for minimising noise from audible intruder alarms, entitled “Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms 1982”, and for the issue thereof on the date of coming into operation of this order.
