Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Act 1979 (Belize) (Amendment) Order 1981 and shall come into operation on 17th April 1981.

Section 2
The Merchant Shipping Act 1979 (Belize) Order 1980 ( is hereby amended by adding between the words “contained in” and “paragraph 7” in section 51(2) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1979, as set out in the Schedule to the said Order, the words “section 5(2A) of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act 1971 (1971 c. 59; S.I. 1975/2164 as amended by S.I. 1981/214) or section 4(13) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1974 (1974 c. 43; S.I. 1975/2164 as amended by S.I. 1981/214) or” .
