Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Immigration (Registration with Police) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1983.

Section 2
In Regulation 2(1) of the Immigration (Registration with Police) Regulations 1972 , in the definition of “alien” for the words “British Nationality Act 1948” there shall be substituted the words “ British Nationality Act 1981” .
