Section 1

This Order may be cited as the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (Immunities and Privileges) Order 1982. It shall come into operation on the day on which the Constitution of UNIDO enters into force for the United Kingdom, which date shall be notified in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes.

Section 2

UNIDO is an organisation of which the United Kingdom and other sovereign Powers are members.

Section 3

Notwithstanding the entry into force for the United Kingdom of the Constitution of UNIDO, the provisions of the United Nations and International Court of Justice (Immunities and Privileges) Order 1974 shall continue to apply to UNIDO, its officers and representatives of Members.
