Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Police Cadets (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1982.

Section 2

These Regulations shall come into operation on 1st December 1982 and shall have effect for the purposes of Regulation 3(b) as from 1st September 1982.

Section 3

The Police Cadets Regulations 1979 shall be amended as follows:—

(a) for paragraph (1)(b) of Regulation 10 there shall be substituted the following provision:—

(b) the period consists of not more than 7 days.

(b) for the Table in Schedule 2 (scales of pay) there shall be substituted the following Table:—

(c) for paragraph 2 of Schedule 3 (charge for board and lodging) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:—

(2) The annual rate of charge shall be—

(a) in the case of a police cadet attached to the City of London or Metropolitan Police force, £363;

(b) in any other case, £339.
