The Taking of Hostages (Guernsey) Order 1982

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Taking of Hostages (Guernsey) Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 26th November 1982.

Section 2

In this Order, “ the Bailiwick ” means the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the territorial waters adjacent thereto, and “ the 1982 Act ” means the Taking of Hostages Act 1982.

Section 3

Section 1 of the 1982 Act shall extend to the Bailiwick with the substitution, in subsection (1), of the words “the Bailiwick” for the words “the United Kingdom” .

Section 4

Sections 3(2) and 6(1) of the 1982 Act shall extend to the Bailiwick.
